1000 Days After the Full-Scale Invasion (November 19, 2024)
After 1000 days of full-scale war in Ukraine, support for Russia's "special military operation" remains high; strong support may have even increased slightly in the last few months (at least among our online survey respondents).
In total, support is about 60-65\% of responses on our daily survey. However, about 25\% continue to express open opposition to the SMO. Another 10-15\% are unsure or don't want to answer the question.
Note that the data in this graph are not weighted by socio-demographic characteristics. Our online sample, for example, tends to be slightly more educated and younger than the overall population.
The vast majority of respondents say they're interested in politics. We see fluctuation over time in the "somewhat" and "very" interested categories - with the percent of respondents who say they're "very" interested in politics climbing over the past 3 months. However, the extent to which this high self-reported interest translates to actual behavior is less clear.
